The firm
Leonard Gold Chartered Accountants was established in 1960, and has undergone many developments over the years.
Based in Portsmouth, we are a 4 partner firm offering a wide range of accountancy, tax planning, audit and assurance, advisory and financial planning services and specialise in providing advice to small, medium-sized and fledgling companies and businesses.
We aim to build long term working relationships with our clients through acquiring detailed knowledge of their affairs to provide them with high quality advice.
Steven Howarth

Steve became a partner in 1980 having qualified with a Winchester practice in 1972 and gaining audit experience with an international firm. Steve has a wide range of business & tax clients over many activities providing both added value & compliance services. |

Andrew Chapman

Andy qualified with Leonard Gold over 20 years ago before joining an international accountancy practice in London. Andy returned to Leonard Gold and became a partner in 1989. As well as being a Chartered Accountant, he is also an Independent Financial Adviser. |

Julie Watts

Julie worked for 9 years in regional firms of Chartered Accountants before joining Leonard Gold in 1998. She qualified in 1996 and became a partner in 2001. As a busy mother of two young children Julie understands the pressure that running a business can have on the work/life balance and the importance of our role as an accountant and adviser in reducing the burden. |

Nas came to Leonard Gold in 1999 from a regional firm of Chartered Accountants as a fully qualified independent financial adviser and became a partner in 2007. Nas manages the financial services arm of the firm from which we offer the full range of financial services with a particular emphasis on pensions and investment advice. |
